Luca Simone is an Italian composer, known for their intense and passionate scores to videogames, film, and TV. They recently scored the indie metroidvania game Threaded Memories, directed by Mattia Alfieri, for which they created and recorded an orchestral score that fully encompasses their varied influences, from classical European pieces to Japanese-inspired action cues. 

 

Luca is currently working on the scores to three indie short films, encompassing thriller/horror, drama and comedy genres, and several indie games. They wrote an epic medieval score for Twitch streamer Dario Moccia's promotional campaign for the Amazon series "The Wheel of Time".

Luca's compositional style merges experimental sounds with classical and orchestral techniques, while also combining both Western and Eastern musical influences. They began their musical journey in their teenage years as a singer in a metal band, before completing studies in Electronic Music at the Niccolò Piccinni Conservatoire in the Adriatic port city of Bari, Italy, where they currently reside.
